Wee Isle Dairy Ltd. is our family-owned and run business, set up primarily to pasteurise & bottle the milk from our cows and make artisan ice cream.
Based at Tarbert Farm on the Isle of Gigha, Kintyre on the SW Argyll coast of Scotland, the Wee Isle Dairy is a small dairy farm run by Emma Rennie Dennis and her brother Mark Rennie where they milk roughly 60 cows, mostly Friesians.
Milk from the Wee Isle Dairy is only whole milk which is believed to be the healthiest form of milk. Indeed, research has shown that low-fat milk is almost certainly the single largest dietary cause of obesity, whereas whole milk helps one to maintain a healthy weight.
